In the UK, all new cars come with a manufacturer’s warranty, giving vehicle owners added peace of mind. Although coverage varies by manufacturer, most warranties include key components such as drive and axle shafts, engine parts, seals and gaskets, batteries, brake and clutch linings, air conditioning systems, and audio or infotainment systems.

In many cases, paintwork is also covered, although the length of cover can differ between manufacturers. Typically, warranties last up to three years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, depending on the make and model.
