What are Warranty Claims?
At Autoserve, we’re committed to supporting you throughout the duration of your Fleet Management contract. Should any of your new vehicles experience faults that fall within the manufacturer’s warranty cover, we’re here to help. Handling a warranty claim can be a complex and time-consuming process, but with Autoserve, it’s simple. Just give us a call, and your dedicated account manager will take care of everything on your behalf, from claim initiation to liaising with the manufacturer and organising repairs.
In the UK, all new cars come with a manufacturer’s warranty, providing peace of mind for vehicle owners. While the specifics of what’s covered may vary between manufacturers, most warranties typically include key components like drive and axle shafts, engine parts, seals and gaskets, vehicle batteries, brake and clutch linings, air conditioning systems, and even audio and entertainment systems. Paintwork is also generally covered under warranty, though coverage durations can differ. On average, warranties last up to three years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, though this may vary depending on the manufacturer and model of the vehicle.
If you’re uncertain whether a specific part or issue is covered under your vehicle’s warranty, don’t worry – Autoserve can look into it for you. We will check the warranty details, and if the part is eligible for repair or replacement, we’ll arrange for the vehicle to be booked in at an approved garage for the necessary work. Once the claim is approved by both yourself and the vehicle manufacturer, we’ll ensure the repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently, keeping you informed every step of the way.
